16-year-old Mantas Kauspedas set a new national record for men in a short (25-meter) swimming pool held in Portsmouth (England). The Lithuanian completed the 50-meter backstroke in 23.67 seconds. and improved Vytautas Janusaitis's achievement since 2009 (23.85 sec.).
